Dejing Primary School in Yuzhong District, Chongqing, formerly known as "Qiujing School", was founded in Zengjiayan by Louis, an American Christian missionary of the American Israeli American Church in November 1891. In August 1922, Qiujing Primary School was founded by the Qiujing Students' Autonomy of the Christian Methodist Church. In August 1929, it was renamed "Chongqing Private Dejing Primary School"; In October 1946, it was renamed "Chongqing Private Qiujing Primary School". In the same year, together with Qiujing Middle School, Qiujing Business School and Qiujing Kindergarten, it was called "Qiujing School"; In December 1952, Chongqing private Qiujing Primary School was renamed as "Chongqing Shizhong Zhongsi Road Primary School"; In September 1959, Tieyuan Road Primary School was incorporated into Zhongsi Road Primary School; In 1960, Shangqingsi Private Primary School was incorporated into Zhongsi Road Primary School; In 1962, Zhongsi Road Primary School was divided into: Zhongsi Road Primary School, Guihuayuan Primary School, Hongguang Primary School (now Renmin Road Middle School); It was named Xiangyang Primary School during the Cultural Revolution of Zhongsi Road Primary School; In February 1998, Shangqingsi Primary School in Yuzhong District was merged into Zhongsi Road Primary School in Yuzhong District; In September 2017, the school was renamed "Chongqing Yuzhong District Dejing Primary School".
