Chongqing Second Foreign Language School of Sichuan International Studies University held a special lecture on "Sports News Interview and Writing" when the alumni came to the school
Recently, our specially invited senior reporter, one of the top 100 journalists in China, was awarded the title of "Advanced Individual for the Olympic Games and Paralympic Games" by the State Council, and enjoyed the treatment of national model workers. The winners of the commemorative medal for the 70th anniversary of the founding of the People's Republic of China held a new lecture for students at the second alumni 'visit.
As a student of Class 5, Grade 71 at the beginning of our school, Yuci alumnus also served as an English teacher in the Fourth Middle School. He retired from Chongqing Daily and has deep feelings for his alma mater. In this lecture, the alumni of Yu launched their own lectures around the interview and writing of sports news. Combining his own experience, he talked about the skills of sports news interview and the qualities that an excellent reporter should possess. In the aspect of sports news writing, he also talked briefly about three requirements for writing good sports news. In the lecture, Yu's alumnus sometimes spoke in Chinese and sometimes in English, demonstrating his solid language skills and super expressive ability, which made students fully feel the quality and level of an excellent journalist. The witty and humorous way of teaching and a series of vivid and interesting cases made students listen attentively, and gained a lot of knowledge and broadened their horizons in the laughter and cheerful atmosphere of the meeting.
The successful holding of this seminar broadened the students' vision, expanded their knowledge, and gave them a new understanding of the characteristics of sports news and its writing. For some students who are interested in journalism, Yuci's experience will also play a leading role in their college life and future life.
