Chongqing Binjiang Experimental School is a school integrating learning, primary school and kindergarten.
It was merged from the original Chongqing No. 92 Middle School, Xuantanmiao Primary School, Art School and Xuantanmiao Kindergarten in March 1997. The school is located at Hongxingpo, Xuantanmiao, on the south bank of Chongqing.
History of Chongqing Binjiang Experimental School
The first school was the Middle School Department, formerly known as the former No. 92 Middle School of Chongqing, which was founded in 1937. It was the Kuomintang Central Police School that moved westward with the Kuomintang government in Chongqing during the Anti Japanese War.
Xuantanmiao Primary School was founded in 1939, when it was called the Experimental Central School of the Eleventh District. In 1946, it was renamed Chongqing Experimental Primary School, with a kindergarten attached. After the national liberation in 1949, it was renamed Xuantanmiao Primary School.
Xuantanmiao Kindergarten is the only secondary public kindergarten in Tushan Town. It was originally attached to Xuantanmiao Primary School, and left the primary school in the school year 1958 to 1959. It is called Xuantanmiao Kindergarten.
