From December 28 to 29, 2017, the "High School Teaching Reform Seminar in the Context of the New College Entrance Examination" was held in Shuangliu Middle School, Chengdu, Sichuan Province. Principals and more than 700 teachers from more than 100 schools across the country active in education and teaching participated in the event. Under the leadership of Zhang Yufei, director of the Moral Education Department, and Li Chang, deputy director of the Academic Affairs Department, Zhang Ying, teacher of the Mathematics Teaching and Research Group, Wu Ping, teacher of the English Teaching and Research Group, Liu Yanxu, teacher of the Physics Teaching and Research Group, and Zhang Shuxia, teacher of the Biology Teaching and Research Group Tan Mingcong from the Political Teaching and Research Group, Fu Keli from the Geography Teaching and Research Group and other teacher representatives from various disciplines went to Chengdu Shuangliu Middle School to participate in this teaching and research activity.

Yang Yinfu, Deputy Director of the Education Development Research Center of the Ministry of Education, made a speech starting from the education department's learning and implementing the spirit of the 19th National Congress of the Communist Party of China. The report of the 19th National Congress of the Communist Party of China pointed out that education should be given priority to build an educational power. In the face of the upcoming comprehensive reform of college entrance examination, the education department should do a good job in all aspects: pay attention to the changes in curriculum standards, actively respond to the reform of college entrance examination, and promote the reform of high school teaching in the information age.

Li Jingbo, Director of the General High School Education Division of the Department of Basic Education of the Ministry of Education, made a special report entitled "Forms and Tasks Faced by Our General High School Education Reform", which clearly pointed out three important tasks of basic education in the emerging stage: first, promoting the development of education, ensuring basic education, popularizing high school education, and promoting education fairness; Second, deepen the reform, clarify the direction and motivation of basic education reform, promote the steady development of the reform of college entrance examination, high school entrance examination and curriculum reform, and emphasize the normal teaching mode of selecting courses and taking classes in high schools; Third, standardize school running, improve the policies and regulations of private schools and social training institutions, promote and improve the school running standards of ordinary high schools, comprehensively standardize school running behavior, and promote the healthy and sustainable development of basic education. On the premise of a clear task, Mr. Li expressed his unique views from three aspects: the situation from career development, the challenges from college entrance examination reform and the way from curriculum reform. How does high school education adapt to the new college entrance examination? It is necessary to take the reform of the enrollment system as the lead, involving a package of reforms in the three-year curriculum, teaching organization, teaching management, teaching research, and educational resource allocation of senior high schools. Why on earth should I leave? In order to meet the multi-level and diversified learning and development needs of different types of students and achieve personalized development. How to go on duty?
