Chongqing Shapingba Primary School is a full-time public primary school, which is the leader in the cluster development of primary schools in Shapingba District. It has one cluster development school (Chongqing Shapingba Primary School International Logistics Park School) and four member schools (Ronghui Shapingba Primary School, Shengde Shapingba Primary School, Shabin School of Shapingba Primary School, Tianchi Primary School) as the group head school.
The school is located at No. 72, Shapingba Main Street, adjacent to Chongqing No.1 Middle School and Chongqing Nankai on the left, and Chongqing University on the right. The school was founded in 1935 by Mr. Gao Xianjian, President of Sichuan Provincial Institute of Education (the predecessor of Southwest University). During this period, it changed its name seven times and was named "Chongqing Shapingba Primary School" in 2003.
