In 1955, Chongqing No. 30 Middle School was officially established and listed. By the mid-1960s, the school had 20 classes, with about 1300 junior and senior high school students. In the early 1980s, the school set up a women's softball team. In 1984, it took part in the Sichuan Women's Softball Competition and won the third place.
