Introduction to Chongqing Second Foreign Language School

Chongqing Second Foreign Language School, formerly known as Chongqing Women's Middle School, was founded in 1940. In 1952, under the personal care of Deng Ken, the director of Chongqing Education Bureau, he moved from Xuantan Temple to Tushan Lake, and was renamed as Chongqing No. 4 Women's Middle School. In 1969, it was renamed as Chongqing No. 4 Middle School. In 1997, with the approval of Chongqing Municipal People's Government, it was restructured as Chongqing Second Foreign Language School of Sichuan International Studies University, becoming the only joint-stock municipal key middle school in Chongqing. It is one of the first 13 "foreign language experimental schools" awarded by the Foreign Language Education Research Center of the National Basic Education Experimental Center, one of the top 100 middle schools in China, the education experimental base of the Southwest Basic Education Research Center, and the qualification school recommended by the "real name recommendation system for middle school principals" of Peking University.
