Introduction to Chongqing Qiujing Middle School
Chongqing QiujingHighSchool was listed as "the first batch of key middle schools in Sichuan Province" in 1981 and "the first batch of key middle schools in Chongqing" in 1999. In 1891, the school was founded by the MEM Association, an American Christian organization, and initially named "Chongqing Qiujing School"; In 1929, it was renamed "Chongqing Private Qiujing Middle School"; In 1951, it was changed into a public school and named as "Chongqing Qiujing Middle School". In 1952, the former Chongqing No. 6 Middle School, Youth League Middle School, Tonghui Middle School and Shude Girls' Middle School were incorporated into the school and renamed as "Chongqing No. 6 Middle School" in the same year; In 1953, Ganjiang Middle School was incorporated; In 1955, the school was renamed as "Sichuan Chongqing No. 6 Middle School"; In 1956, Fudan Middle School and the high school of Chongqing No. 12 Middle School were merged; In 1964, Zengjiayan Middle School was incorporated. In 1998, the school was renamed "Chongqing Qiujing Middle School".
