Chongqing Second Foreign Language School (hereinafter referred to as Chongqing Second Foreign Language School) is the predecessor of Chongqing Municipal Girls' Secondary School founded in 1940. In 1952, under the personal care of Director Duncan of Chongqing Education Bureau, the school moved from Xuantan Temple to the bank of Tushan Lake. In 1953, it was renamed as Chongqing No. 4 Women's Middle School, one of the five key middle schools in Chongqing. In 1969, it was renamed as Chongqing No. 4 Middle School. In 1997, it was restructured into Chongqing Second Foreign Language School of Sichuan Foreign Language Institute under the approval of Chongqing Municipal People's Government. In 2002, it was held by Chongqing Nan'an District Government, Chongqing Hongsheng Group and Tongjing Group. The school is a complete middle school controlled by state-owned assets. In May 2018, under the leadership of Nan'an District Government, the Chongqing Second Foreign Language Organization was optimized. Leehom Education Investment Company replaced Tongjing Group, and the rest of the share structure remained unchanged. Mr. Chen Zhengwei, chairman of Leehom Fine Chemical Co., Ltd., served as the president of Chongqing Second Foreign Language Organization.
